January 30, 2010 - NGPTA was selected for the inaugural class of the Bulldog 100: Fastest Growing Bulldog Businesses that are owned or operated by UGA Alumni, each year.  Rankings are based on compounded annual growth rate of revenues for the past three years.   “North Georgia Physical Therapy Associates should be congratulated for being among the first selection of Bulldog 100 companies,” said Deborah Dietzler, Executive Director of the UGA Alumni Association. “With more than 400 nominees representing businesses from throughout the United States, it is a true achievement to be selected.  The UGA Alumni Association is proud to honor North Georgia Physical Therapy Associates for its accomplishments.”

October 30, 2009 – NGPTA celebrated Halloween with a Patient Appreciation party.

September 19, 2009 – NGPTA sponsored The 4th Mystery in the Mountains train tour, a fundraiser for Fannin’s Ferst Foundation.  We won best costume and solved the mystery.  Mystery Tour

August 3, 2009 – NGPTA hosts James Dunning, DPT. He instructed the physical therapy staffs of North Georgia Physical Therapy and Jasper Physical Therapy in advanced spinal manipulation.  James Dunning, DPT is an internationally known speaker and researcher. He specializes in spinal manipulation, western and traditional Chinese acupuncture and trigger point dry needling for a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. He holds advanced degrees in physical therapy from the United States and England.

July 11, 2009 – Mike Darnell, PT donated his Honda Shadow motorcycle to the Gilmer High School Wrestling Team for a raffle fundraiser, which raised $5000.   The winning ticket was sold by Gilmer High’s Justin Karr to Theresa Wilson of Ellijay GA.
